I’m Mildred Chalmers, the founder, singing teacher, and vocal coach at Voice Set Free LLC.

I help female singers of all ages move from struggling with the frustration of not reaching their singing goals because their singing voice seems limited in some way, to gaining the pleasure of SINGING WITH EASE, POWER, PASSION, and CONFIDENCE.

As you can see I am also a singer. My natural talent was exceptional until it was compromised. That’s when I learned the undeniable effectiveness of voice lessons, which not only restored my singing voice but gave me a higher level of vocal freedom. I also developed the ability to instinctively know when another singer had an issue that was limiting their voice. I approached Mildred with a tight program, which she managed to compress and deliver within 3 days. I had a special event for Good Friday that I wanted to participate in. Mildred explained how complex the process was and that she would do her best to make my voice ready on short notice. She was patient and encouraging. She conducted a thorough initial assessment and, above all, made me feel comfortable and open to learning. She also provided practice notes for me to try outside the session. Her ability to adapt and customise each client's needs was exceptional. Mildred went a step further and helped me sing my piece, which was in my native language (that's a foreign language to her).
